Welcome to Every Game Played Blog

Hello and welcome to Every Game Played Blog. This blog will be your portal into my journey into gaming.

From Magic: The Gathering to Street Fighter, Final Fantasy to Call of Duty, I will strive to give you my perspective on each of the games I play and help us discover the wide wonderful world of our shared hobby.

I want to experience a variety of different types of games, from Platformers to Role-Playing Games, First Person Shooters to Puzzle games. I want to clear my backlog of all the games I own and bring my thoughts to you so that you can take what you see and decide whether to play the games yourself.

I intend to do a combination of streaming on my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/UnfortunateWill) and uploading videos of my playthroughs so that streaming videos you can see my thoughts as they occur and the uploaded videos can be edited to maximize your enjoyment.

After each game I play, I intend to write a review for you that tells you my feelings around the game and give them a score between 1 and 5. Games that are rated 1 are games that I believe should not be played because they are broken or so unfun it’s actually not worth your time. Games that are rated 5 are games I believe should be played by everyone and developers should study to see what they did correct to take some of what made that game special and make their games great.

I also want to create a short podcast to discuss the happenings over the previous week inside Fan Culture so that you can listen to my thoughts on that. I intend to try to get interesting guests to get their insight into each topic so that I and my audience can learn more and get a more in-depth explanation of topics that we talk about.
Monday through Friday:

Thank you for reading and hopefully you will join me!

Super Mario World - Part 3

After finishing the Chocolate Island and unearthing the path to Bowser, our hero ventures into the Valley of Bower to finish the journey to save Princess Peach. We also conclude this part with a quick stop in the Star World. Next time we will finish the Special World and enter Bower's castle. Edit: This post was super frustrating because I lost all of my footage the first time I went through this due to the stream unexpectedly dropping frames. I had to quickly rerecord each of the levels I cleared and it seemed like I did better the second time I played. Notable Levels include Valley Ghost House - This has the hardest secret level to get to. You've got to Lead a coin snake and hit a P switch so that you can climb up and duck thorough a one block opening . Valley Fortress - I would call this the hardest Fortress with the amount of instant kill spike poles Valley of Bowser 4 - Secret requires Yoshi to get the key Star World 2 - Only level to get a Blue Yoshi (not co

Kirby's Dream Land Review

Kirby's Dream Land is a Nintendo Game Boy action-platformer developed by HAL Laboratories and published by Nintendo. Masahiro Sakurai designed this game to be an introduction to the genre that allows beginning players to ease into learning the basic mechanics while not stressing out over staying alive. In this game, the self proclaimed King Dedede has gone out and stole all of the foot in Dream Land. Kirby has to travel through four levels to get to King Dedede's palace and defeat him to return the food to the good citizens of Dream Land. In each level, the player must travel through several different scenes to reach an end boss that they must defeat before moving on to the next level. To combat the enemies that try to impede Kirby, Kirby can inhale and draw the enemy or other obstacle into his mouth. Then the player can decide to either swallow it or spit it out to damage other enemies or destroy blocks in the way. To help the player jump up to high platforms or recover

Super Mario World - Part 4

Closing in on the final battle, we travel through the tricky Special World and take on Bowser. We also achieve 100% of the game with finishing the 96th goal. This took a while to beat because I keep dying on some of the Special World Levels (particularly Tubular, Mondo and Outrageous) Notable Levels: Tubular - Uses the worst power up in the game: the P-Balloon to traverse across a large bottomless pit with a bunch of hard to avoid projectiles Way Cool - Easiest Special world that gives you both a Yoshi and Yoshi's Wings Mondo - Has a water rising and falling mechanic that turn the fish from harmless enemies that you can walk into to defeat to annoying obstacles. Also includes a bunch of Hammer Brothers Outrageous - Fun level that contains jumping fire, wigglers and Bullet Bill's that make a particular jump hard to do Update:  Review Levels in this Part: Special Zone: Gnarly Tubular Way Cool Awesome Groovy Mondo Outrageous Funky Also we beat
